Our Story

For almost two decades, Katie and I have served the Church, most of those years as senior pastors of Curate Church, a fast-growing, multi-location community in New Zealand. We’ve experienced the beauty and the burden of leading something that grows quickly, the stretch, the joy, the complexity.

Today, we serve on the pastoral team at LIFE Church, helping strengthen leaders, teams, and ministries across multiple campuses. Alongside that, we come alongside pastors and churches around the world, coaching, consulting, and walking with them through the unique challenges of ministry life.

Pastoring is a sacred and complex calling. It demands a healthy soul, integrity of heart, deep relationships, godly wisdom, and skill in the work. When leaders thrive, the Church thrives. And when the Church thrives, whole communities are changed.

That’s why we love what we do. Helping pastors lead with clarity and depth isn’t just our work, it’s our calling.

Here’s how I help

Over the years, I’ve learned that every pastor and church carries unique seasons, challenges, and opportunities.

The way I help looks different in each context, but it always centres around supporting the pastor’s vision and seeing it achieved, strengthening leaders, clarifying direction, and building health that lasts.

When I come alongside a pastor or church, I start by listening to the story God is already writing. I bring my experience as a senior pastor of a growing, multi-location church, my current role serving on staff within a large church, and the perspective I’ve gained from walking with pastors and teams around the world.

Every space is different, but the goal is the same: to help pastors and churches lead with clarity, depth, and health.
